Laser micromachining is a well-established and mature technology for high precision microfabrication and is constantly being applied into new application areas. The use of lasers offers many distinct advantages over conventional micro-manufacturing and engineering processes, including:
- Wide flexibility
- High resolution and precision
- Unlimited material coverage
- Multi process compatibility
- Non-Contact processing
- 2D & 3D Structures
- Ability to machine flat and contoured surfaces
- In situ dry processing
LML is dedicated to providing a flexible machining service from simple one-off proof-of-principle trials through to batch production and manufacturing scale-up. Full CAD compatibility is available as standard which allows users to send (e.g. e-mail) LML original CAD data which is then converted into appropriate format for use on LML laser tools.
