Metrology

The ability to measure machined parts accurately is critical for any micro-manufacturing facility.

LML invests significant effort in maintaining state-of-the-art metrology capabilities and the current suite of microscopes include: Keyence VHX-7100, Keyence LM-1000, Nikon LV100D, Vision Engineering Swift Duo, Lynx Stereo, Hitachi TM-1000 scanning electron microscope, plus other smaller microscopes.

In addition, each of LML’s laser tools contains a high resolution imaging microscope for in situ measurements of machined parts and LML is also expert at building bespoke metrology stations.
